Governor M. Jodi Rell is on a mission to bring 700 of Connecticut’s National Guard service men and women home for the holidays. CT TweetCrawl, Fathom and Lisa Davenport’s Home Gallery want to help the Governor make it happen by raising a minimum of $25,000.
On Saturday, November 14, 2009, we will transform Lisa Davenport's Home Gallery warehouse into an Open House to bring the troops home.
Originally, we wanted to do a swanky dinner/dance sponsored by corporate folks with deep pockets. But, deep pockets are pretty hard to come by these days.
NOW - we are asking all of you to band together to bring our troops home. We will have raffle prizes - AWESOME raffle prizes - and a free lunch provided by Agave plus fun for the whole family with activities for the kids and meet 'n greets with local celebrities.
